Ingredients View

Ingredients View provides selection of food in the diet. It can be used to compare different products to choose better option. The view contains four panels to browse, search, compare and view seleted foods:

Food Browsing

Tree on the the left allows to browse through available food categories and foods ('Food Tree'). You can select food in the tree and it is added to the bottom table and marked green. Double click on a food item in the tree adds it to the diet selected ingredients: table on the midle right panel.

Otherwise you can search food items by keywords. Input keywords separated by spaces in top control of the top right panel. Press 'Search' button next to the control to finalize the search. Search result will be presented in the list below keywords. Food item from the search result can be selected and it is located in the Food Tree. That allows to find out about other products that belongs to the same category. It could be interesting to research similar products. As before, selected item added to the bottom table and marked green.
Application runs search on current keywords every third entered character to optimize search.

Selected Food

Middle panel on the right side presents food items selected for the died in 'Selected Ingredients' table. Selected items in the table are added to bottom table as well. 'Selected Ingredients' table allows multiple selections with CTRL/SHIFT keys. Order of ingredients can be changed using buttons below the table.
Food meal could be set in the "Meal" column. The help article Food By Meals has all the details.
The "Units", "Amount" and "Weight" columns of 'Selected Ingredients' table allow to set food units other then grams. The help article Food Units describes how to set food units.

Food comparison

The bottom table allows compare food items side by side ('Ingredient Comparison Table'). It contains selected food item from 'Food Tree' control marked green and all selected items of 'Selected Ingredient' table on the rows. Columns of the table contain nutrients you choose to observe.

Default report has Ingredients section with food related data:
