Data Source Smart Hierarchy

General Description

Diet Studio uses FNDDS 3.0 database for food nutrition facts. The data source has basic food grouping and Smart Hierarchy feature makes food browsing easier. It groups foods that have same part in the title within list. Thus you can skip entire group of ptoducts or search within group you are interested in.

Usage

The food grouping in Smart Hierarchies is controlled by three settings that available in the Settings Manager:

• Smart Hierarchy Depth defines the maximum nesting level of the food groups. The value 0 of the setting turns off food grouping.
• Smart Hierarchy Size defines minimum number of items to group.
• Use Full Title setting forces full food title shown at the lowest level.
